How do you consume seamoss gel?

Adults should take 1 tablespoon per day of the unflavored gel and 2 tablespoons per day of the flavored gel.

Some ways to eat it are in a smoothie, oatmeal, or applesauce. Get creative!

The unflavored gel can be used topically as a hair and skin mask

 

How long does seamoss gel last?

Seamoss needs to be kept cold and is best kept in an airtight glass jar.

The unflavored seamoss gel will last 3 weeks in the refrigerator and 3 months in the freezer.

The flavored seamoss gel will last 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator and 3 months in the freezer.

The shelf life will also depend on how the product is stored. The colder the temperature, the longer it will last. Never store seamoss in your refrigerator door as this section fluctuates in temperature too often. Use a clean spoon every time to avoid contaminating your seamoss (No double-dipping!)

 

What does unflavored seamoss gel taste like?

Seamoss grows in the ocean. It has a mild “sea-like” taste with hints of lime. 

 

How long until I notice results?

It typically takes 4 weeks for noticeable results. The increase in energy can be noticed almost immediately.


Do you use any chemicals or additives?

No chemicals or additives are added throughout the entire process. 

Can you consume seamoss during pregnancy?

According to Pregnancy Food Checker, “Though they come from several different plant species, all varieties of sea moss are safe to consume while pregnant. These plants can help you meet your daily requirements for many nutrients, but should not replace a well-rounded and quality prenatal vitamin and mineral supplement.”
The main concern eating seamoss is the presence of heavy metals, but no worries, our seamoss has passed third party lab testing for heavy metals! (However, it is recommended to speak to your doctor for medical advice.)
